A large public sector organisation is seeking an experienced HR Project Support Officer to join its People & Performance team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to key HR initiatives while working within a collaborative and fast-paced project environment.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the HR Projects team, you will provide project coordination, administrative support and stakeholder engagement across a range of people-related initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery, maintaining documentation, coordinating communications and ensuring projects remain on track against key milestones and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, briefing papers and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Monitor project milestones, actions and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records and correspondence.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide updates on project progress.
  • Assist with project communications and organisation-wide change initiatives.
  • Undertake research, analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience working within HR, supporting project environments.
  • Strong administration and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience within the public sector or local government will be highly regarded.
