Join a well-established local government organisation during an exciting period of project delivery. This is an opportunity for an experienced Training Specialist or Instructional Designer to utilise their expertise in learning design and development, supporting the creation of practical and engaging training solutions.
Your new role
Working closely with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for designing and developing training materials to support the delivery of training for a key leisure centre project.
This is a hands-on instructional design role where you will translate business and operational requirements into clear, engaging and practical learning materials across both facilitator-led and digital formats.

Designing and developing site induction training materials

Creating detailed facilitator run sheets and guides

Developing engaging PowerPoint training presentations

Producing training collateral, handouts and supporting resources

Creating training checklists and toolbox talk documentation

Developing and supporting e-learning content
-
Partnering with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to understand learning requirements

Translating technical and operational information into practical, learner-focused content

Supporting the delivery of learning materials within a broader project environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Training Specialist, Instructional Designer or Learning Designer with a strong track record of developing high-quality learning solutions.

Demonstrated experience in instructional design and training development

Strong experience developing both facilitator-led and e-learning solutions

Experience creating inductions, facilitator guides, presentations and supporting learning collateral

Excellent stakeholder engagement and consultation skills

The ability to take complex business requirements and turn them into clear, engaging training solutions

Strong written communication and attention to detail

Experience working within project-driven or large-scale organisational environments
-
Experience with e-learning authoring tools will be highly regarded
