The Opportunity
We are partnering with a high-impact, mission-driven organisation dedicated to solving complex global challenges through innovation and discovery.
As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will act as a critical bridge between strategic objectives and people capabilities. Reporting to an engaging Chief People Officer, you will help shape the teams that drive this organisation's mission forward.
The RoleThis is a "hands-on" partnership role where you will move beyond transactional HR to act as a strategic enabler. Your primary focus will be split between:
- Organisational Effectiveness: Partnering with leaders to design and implement team structures that optimise effectiveness.
- Leadership Coaching: Providing 1:1 coaching to enhance capability and navigating complex performance management to achieve high-standard outcomes.
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Leading labour planning initiatives to ensure the right talent is in place to meet long-term growth and immediate operational needs.
- Operational Excellence: Applying structured change management and project governance to transition staff through organisational shifts with high engagement.
- Risk & Legislative Guidance: Providing expert guidance on Australian employment law to resolve sensitive matters while achieving respectful outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience as a HR Generalist or Business Partner (3+ years) ideally within a complex technical or highly regulated environment. We are looking for a professional with a "brave" and collaborative attitude-someone who acts with integrity, communicates openly, and isn't afraid to do the hard things to achieve extraordinary results
