Our client is seeking an experienced People Services Business Partner to join their HR team and provide high quality, pragmatic people advice to leaders across the organisation. This role partners closely with stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant and people focused outcomes aligned to business objectives.
Your new role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting the full employee lifecycle while driving best practice across people services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with leaders to provide advice across employee relations, performance management and workforce matters
- Supporting and guiding leaders through change, organisational design and people initiatives
- Managing complex employee queries and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and industrial instruments
- Contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and service delivery
- Supporting workforce planning, engagement initiatives and people projects as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a Business Partner or senior HR advisory role
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and ER/IR principles
- Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable)
