Your new company

A large education provider is seeking an experienced People Services Business Partner to provide high-quality people management advice, support and customer service across a complex and purpose-driven organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative People, Culture and Safety team, supporting workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, people services and continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse and values-led environment.

Your new role

  • Lead and support workforce planning activities, including identifying workforce challenges, reviewing workforce plans and providing reporting and recommendations
  • Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding workflows, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and business stakeholders
  • Provide advice and support to people leaders across people policies, procedures, employment conditions, probation management, onboarding and general employee matters
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across business areas, coaching and influencing leaders on people-related matters
  • Support the use of people data, metrics and insights to inform decision-making and improve workforce outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve people processes, policies and procedures, with a focus on efficiency, service quality and continuous improvement
  • Support the delivery of people management projects, ensuring workforce elements are planned, managed and delivered within agreed timelines
  • Maintain accurate records and provide reporting relating to recruitment, selection, employment eligibility and broader people services activity

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, along with substantial experience across Human Resources
  • Demonstrated experience providing people advice, support and services to varied stakeholders in a complex organisation
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary people practices across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction and performance management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coach, influence and build strong working relationships
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to deliver timely outcomes that meet business needs
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear advice and manage sensitive or complex conversations
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, HR systems and people data to support reporting and decision-making
  • Experience using CHRIS21 HRIS and recruitment/onboarding systems will be highly regarded
