Are you an experienced recruiter with a background in rail, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships while delivering quality hiring outcomes?
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join a busy and growing organisation based in Brisbane CBD. This is an immediate contract opportunity, commencing next week, supporting hiring activity across both blue-collar and white-collar workforces.
Reporting into the People & Culture team, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment activities, working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders across the business.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across a variety of operational and professional positions
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies
- Writing and posting job advertisements
- Screening applications and conducting candidate interviews
- Coordinating recruitment processes and stakeholder communications
- Managing candidate pipelines and delivering a positive candidate experience
- Maintaining recruitment activity through the organisation's ATS and recruitment systems
- Providing hiring insights and market feedback to stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous recruitment experience within the rail, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or related sectors
- Experience recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar roles
- Strong end-to-end recruitment capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS), or the ability to quickly learn new recruitment platforms
- Availability to work standard business hours
