Your new company
A well-established not-for-profit organisation supporting apprenticeships and traineeships across regional Queensland. Based in Roma, the organisation works closely with schools, employers and communities to improve employment outcomes.
Your new role
You'll support recruitment activity while acting as a key representative of the organisation across schools and community settings in the local region. This is an urgent maternity leave backfill requiring a prompt start and the ability to become effective quickly. The role involves delivering school presentations and community outreach activities, promoting apprenticeship and traineeship pathways, screening applicants, conducting interviews and managing candidate workflows, presenting suitable candidates internally, and maintaining accurate recruitment records and reports.
What you'll need to succeed
- Confidence in public speaking, particularly with school-age audiences
- Understanding of the Australian apprenticeship and traineeship framework
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Recruitment experience or willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a quiet, admin-focused office
- Current Australian driving licence
