A regional Victorian organisation is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join its People & Culture team. Working within a collaborative People & Culture team, you will play a key role in attracting and onboarding talented individuals who contribute to positive community outcomes.
Your new role
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities across a diverse portfolio of roles
- Provide practical recruitment advice and support to Hiring Managers on attraction, selection and recruitment strategies
- Deliver a positive candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously while ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements
- Support onboarding activities and assist new employees with a successful transition into the organisation
- Monitor recruitment activity, maintain accurate data and provide reporting insights
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment systems, processes and services
- Assist with recruitment projects, talent attraction initiatives and employer branding activities
- Deliver recruitment-related guidance and training to internal stakeholders as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment and onboarding services within a complex organisation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and support Hiring Managers
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Sound understanding of recruitment legislation, policies and contemporary recruitment practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience
- Experience contributing to process improvements and service delivery enhancements
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent recruitment experience
- Experience within local government or large, multi-site organisations will be highly regarded
