Our client operates in a highly regulated, operational environment with a large blue-collar workforce. They are currently navigating a complex people-related project and require an experienced HR professional who can quickly build credibility, manage sensitive conversations and provide practical workplace relations support.
Your new role
This is a true roll-up-your-sleeves HR Business Partner role with a strong workplace relations focus.
You'll work closely with leaders and employees to manage complex ER matters, support the completion of a payroll remediation program, communicate outcomes to employees and provide practical advice on awards, remuneration and employment legislation.
Working alongside a dedicated project team, you will play a key role in driving execution, solving problems and ensuring critical deliverables are completed.
This role will focus heavily on employee relations, workplace relations and the delivery of a high-profile payroll remediation initiative. You'll work closely with leaders, employees and project stakeholders to drive outcomes and bring key pieces of work to completion.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong employee relations and workplace relations experience in a blue-collar environment
- Detailed understanding of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and compliance requirements
- Industry experience within logistics, defense, construction, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
- Ability to confidently communicate complex pay, award and employment matters to employees and leaders
- Experience working on projects
- Australian Citizenship is essential
